Social events in the visitor centre and free entertainment in the park.
SUNDAY 24 JULY at the bandstand 2pm -4.30pm MELTHAM AND MELTHAM MILLS BAND - A Kirklees Council event. Kirklees do not provide seating please bring your own chairs.
SUNDAY 31 JULY YORKSHIRE DAY GALA - 1pm to 5pm.
Knottingley Band on the bandstand 2pm - 4pm
Pennine Jazz on the terrace 2pm - 4.30pm
Donkeys on the playing field (provided its not raining!)
Fairground down the main drive and at the Butternab Road end
Cresta Run on the Italian gardens
Refreshments, stalls and much more entertainment.
Tea room open for refreshments.
An ideal day out for all the family. Admission free
PARKING AVAILABLE AT MOOR END TECHNOLOGY COLLEGE on Dryclough Road just around the corner from the park. Please follow signs
WEDNESDAY 3 AUGUST 1pm - 4pm FUN IN THE PARK WITH DONNA, THE COMMUNITY RANGER. Further details to follow.
SATURDAY AUGUST 13TH - MURDER MYSTERY EVENING 7pm start (PROMPT) finish 11.30pm TICKET ONLY
THURSDAY 18 and 25 AUGUST - TEDDY BEARS PICNIC WITH LISA. 10AM - 12noon. Meet at the depot and bring a Teddy Bear.
