Another successful Gala Day
Thank you to everyone who comes along to our events and gala days. Gala Day 2008 attracted thousands to the park. We hope you enjoyed Emley Brass Band on the bandstand and Pennine Jazz on the terrace and the many stalls and attractions around the park.
We thank Crosland Moor Community Shop for funding the entertainment. We have a good team of volunteers who commence work at 8.30am - putting up gazebos, moving chairs, tables, and other tasks. Kirklees Council provided transport, PA system, chairs, tables and staff for which we are very grateful.
