WEDNESDAY WALKERS
Meet at the main gate at 10.30am for a maximum five mile walk - lunch available afterwards in the visitor centre.

Thursday Parents/grandparents and toddlers meet between 9.30am and 12 noon.  Plenty of toys for the children to play with.

Thursday - visitor centre open for refreshments 1.30pm to 4pm(summer months).  We are looking for volunteers to help in the visitor centre on Thursdays and or Sundays.  Please come along and try it out.

Friday - Health Walkers meet at 2pm in the visitor centre for a walk around the area returning for refreshments in the visitor centre.

Sunday - visitor centre open for refreshments 1.30pm to 4pm(summer months).

SUNDAY 1 AUGUST 1pm to 5pm - YORKSHIRE DAY GALA - Fairground, Cresta Run, Valley Royal Majorettes, donkeys, entertainment, stalls, face painting, YT Honley Band on the Bandstand, Pennine Jazz near the visitor centre, lots of fun for all the family, Kirklees Active Leisure and magician.  Further details to follow.  This event has a Yorkshire theme, please enter into the spirit of Yorkshire Day - e.g. wear a white rose or a flat cap, wave a Yorkshire flag, etc.  Please contact FoBP office if you require a stall. 01484 645217 or email friends@fobp.co.uk

FRIDAYS DURING THE SCHOOL HOLIDAYS - Kirklees Council - Summer activities on the playing field.  Further details to follow. 

SUNDAY 8 AUGUST 2pm to 4.30pm SELLERS INTERNATIONAL YOUTH BAND - provided by Kirklees Council.

SATURDAY 4 SEPTEMBER Alzheimer's Society MEMORY WALK IN THE PARK - Further details to follow.

SUNDAY 5 SEPTEMBER - HADE EDGE BAND ON THE BANDSTAND 2pm to 4.30pm - provided by KIRKLEES COUNCIL.

SUNDAY 12 SEPTEMBER 1.30pm to 3.30pm - HERITAGE DAY - Heritage themed stalls, entertainment, fairground. Refreshments on sale.  Skelmanthorpe B Band on the bandstand. Further details to follow.

SUNDAY 5 DECEMBER - Carol Concert near the main gate.
