EASTER 2010 more photos

Good Weather brought out the Easter Sunday crowds.  There was lots of activity in the park and all free entertainment.  Diane Clifford (Park Warden) organised the fun quiz - the answer to the question regarding the Lion is Henry (Named after Henry Frederick Beaumont who donated the land to Huddersfield Corporation).

The playground was opened by the Mayor of Kirklees, Julie Stewart-Turner and  assisted by the 'awesome rabbit'.  Kirklees Council funded the entertainment, the bouncy castle, tramoline and face painting proved very popular as did the visitor centre refreshments run the FoBP volunteers, cake stall, food van and not to mention Dixons Ice Cream.

Thank you to everyone who supported the event.

Photographer - Jane Mellor from the Beaumont Park Photography Group took Gavin Woodworth dressed as a Victorian Gentleman, Awesome Rabbit - Chi Chan from Walthamstowe, Rabbit and Chick from the Blackburn Family, Easter Robin - Robin Clayton from Beaumont Park enjoying the activities.
