Unfortunately the weather wasn't kind to us on Sunday 6th June and we had to adopt PLAN B. The Proms and Picnic Event was held down by the main gate. Lindley band played favourite songs and St Barnabas Choir lead the singalong.

GARDENS IN THE PARK ORGANISED BY HUDDERSFIELD ROTARY CLUB had a poor entry this year with only 3 schools participating. King James School won the main trophy, Rowley Lane won the Junior School prize. Shelley High School was the other school taking part.
The photographs below show the gardens in the park and the presentation of the trophy by Deputy Mayor, Eric Firth, to King James School. Geoff Hirst was the judge.
