For the past three years Kirklees Council and the Friends of Beaumont Park have been working together to develop the play opportunities in Beaumont Park. The plan on the sheet on the survey is the design for a new play area based on what visitors and the local community thought would benefit the park.
We have aimed to extend the provision for play for all – to enhance the connection with nature – to provide a platform for positive wellbeing, physical activity and relaxation for children and young people with their families- our playable spaces offer a challenge to everyone as well as a place where people can meet or allow people to find somewhere quiet.
Please have a look at the plan overleaf. You can let us know your views by clicking on the link below. We would be grateful, if you would also complete a separate survey using the opinions of those aged 12 and under and/or teenagers where appropriate. The survey will be open until midnight on Saturday 5 September.
