Don’t forget Playday THIS Wednesday 5th August 11-3. Play Day is the national day for play in the UK highlighting the importance of play in children’s lives. Lots of free things for the children to enjoy – face painting, circus skills, story trail, chess, little bikers, explore the river water, outdoor crafts, drumming, workshop, den building, orienteering, West Yorkshire Police, games, archery and dance performances. Free picnic bags and fruit for the children, discounted food from the Friends volunteers at the Bandstand and Visitors Centre. Come along and enjoy a great day out.
