What an amazing day! Santa left the main gate at 1.15pm with vast numbers of people accompanying him down the Avenue as he rode on his sleigh pulled by a naughty elf. When he arrived at the Bandstand, he met lots and lots of excited children. Santa, Rudolf and the elf gave out many sweets and Santa was given a number of letters. The catering van and gazebos served mulled wine, hot turkey and stuffing sandwiches, hot dogs, homemade cakes and hot and cold drinks. The Visitors Centre was also open serving Christmas goodies.
Christmas music was playing on the Bandstand. Children loved visiting the Face Painter and the RSPCA also had a stall. To round the day off, there was also a fun fair.
