We had such an exciting Play Day celebration planned with lots and lots of exciting activities. However, the rain came down and we were forced to reduce activities to the marquee and the bandstand. There were a number of activities on the bandstand – children enjoyed djembe drumming and creating large artwork. There was lots of free food for children and opportunities for adults to buy food in the marquee and some large games. The Mayor, Councillor Cahal Burke, visited and we all made the best of the weather.
